It was winter when I saw her
Hidden away in a spooky corner!
Her back was full of pearly eggs..
And she was busy knitting
With all her might she guarded
The light of her life from foes!
And as soon was her work rewarded
The tiny angels, so shiny as dews
Crawled her web throughout
She food them the goodness of nature!
With all the butterflies she got
Plump they grew to be
And monstrous became their appetite
summers did arrive, in-spite of prayers..
The days of plenty had gone
Now life was not so easy as it was
The weaker she grew,
The hungrier they become...
And finally her end came
But only for a new start
she was their final meal!
That gave them strength to go on..
After all they will too become
Another kind mom!
